The camp currently houses over 750 people, over 600 of them ethnic Tigrayens who left Tigray in search of food and to escape the war and forced conscription. Several individuals interviewed at the camp stated that food and medical aid that is being delivered to Tigray is mainly going towards supporting the war effort and that the civilian population is secondary. Santos cuestionó capacidad de Consejo de Seguridad de ONU para abordar el cambio climático
